AP Laboratories was established in 2009 by Dr. Thomas Carico and Dr. Ricky Wolfe, both experienced medical doctors in the field of pathology. Together, these two physicians recognized the need for better integration of medical practices and practices that maximized physician business models.

“From the start we believed that by focusing on one area of pathology, we could achieve higher levels of quality, greatly improve physician service and provide vastly improved service to pathologists, hospitals and outpatient clinics, all of which will contribute to better patient care,” said Dr. Thomas Carico, one of the founders of AP Laboratories. “If growth is an indication of our ability to do that job, and do it well, then we are indeed filling a need.”

The website is simply a tool to help physicians learn about AP Laboratories’ services and tell them how to reach the company’s sales team. AP Laboratories provides a flexible range of services that will fit into the business model of any practice that does a large volume of pathology, whether the client is needs technical, professional or global lab services, or all of these services.

“If a clinic, practice or hospital has a large volume of anatomic pathology samples, we are flexible enough to meet the needs of our doctors, no matter how simple or how complex their needs,” said Dr. Ricky Wolfe, the other co-founder. “As pathologists ourselves, Dr. Carico and I feel that we better understand what our colleagues need and AP Laboratories is able to meet those needs.”
